Like many, the pandemic jarred my creative flow and also slowed my work for clients, too. I couldn't find a way to jump in and start documenting. Throughout the past six/seven months, there have been moments when I've felt a jolt of creativity or a fleeting moment would push me out of slump.

These images are from moments or scenes that stopped me. For the above image, I was heading west out of South Bend and there were rows of old pews sitting next to a small church. The blue tarp covered the majority of the pews, but consistent gusts of wind were pulling the large covering back and exposing what was underneath. Also, I loved the consistency in the colors of the tarp and the light. For me, the message that comes through in the above image is that even though we may cover our faith up or our spirituality, the world is at work to unveil it to ourselves and to others. Maybe I am projecting too much ...
