I recently received the tearsheet from the folks at Indianapolis Monthly, a general interest magazine that focuses on interesting and informative storytelling in Indy and beyond. I was able to contribute a portrait to the February Issue, which has a fantastic cover page (see at the bottom of the post).

The person I photographed was Jose Ramos, who is a former anesthesiologist that lost his medical license when he was caught using stolen opioids on the job. The Q&A is fascinating to read alongside the portriat. During our time together, I was amazed at how vulnerable and honest Jose was and how he was willing to share his story.
