Light refracts in the mist off of Gullfoss and a rainbow frames the tiered plunges of the waterfall. We were a couple hours from Reykjavík, Iceland’s capital city, and a state of awe began to set in. Even at one of the busiest stops on the Golden Circle, the natural world was overtaking my senses. Even as a thumbprint of humanity was clearly embedded in the environment the elemental connection remained.

This connection, the feeling of awe that I felt, I am going to attempt to encapsulate into my second zine. After completing my first, which focused on my time spent in Cambodia, I wanted to continue down this path of self-publishing travelogs, which aim to immerse viewers into the place.

This second zine will highlight the dynamic landscape and showcase the wonders, both large and small, that make up the Land of Fire and Ice.
